Welcome to the Candia Congregational Church Website

The Candia Congregational Church has been "a light set on a hill" for over 200 years. In 1983, God gave us this incredible prayer from the Bible which has come to define our vision and life together…

"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen! (Ephesians 3:20,21)

This Church is a family gathering of those called to serve God in compassionate care of others. We believe each of us who follows Jesus is gifted by the Holy Spirit and that the church enables us to discover and use those gifts. We have been called to feed, heal, free and offer hospitality to those in need and to take the good news about Jesus Christ to every person in the world

Candia has a strong history of faith in the New England congregational tradition. We are rooted in the Protestant reformation, and hold to the common beliefs of the Christian church as expressed in the Apostles, Nicene and other ecumenical creeds. We believe in the unity of all believers and seek to work cooperatively with faithful churches of all denominations. We are governed democratically or congregationally under the sovereignty of God and the authority of the Bible.

Sunday School for ages 3-Adult (at 8:30 a.m.)  Sept-May

Worship is the center of our life together. Giving honor to the God who created us, and the Lord Jesus who died to save us is a joy! We invite you to come dressed in whatever way makes you feel comfortable and to participate however you are able. Children and babies are very welcome in our worship. If your baby or toddler needs special attention feel free to worship with them in our Skybox (upstairs in the balcony over the sanctuary). Whether you come alone or with friends and family, please join us downstairs after worship for light refreshment and conversation. We would like to get to know you. Sunday is the Lord’s gift to us for the purpose of rest and refreshment. We don’t typically schedule meetings and programs on Sunday after worship in order to enable you to relax, visit one another, get outside, and let the Spirit renew your mind and heart for the week ahead!

The Church is located at 1 South Road in Candia (corner of Rt. 27). Our mailing address is P. O. Box 62, Candia, NH 03034. The office is located at 183 High Street in the Joy Building, which sits behind the Fitts Museum, east of the Church on Rt. 27. The office phone number is 603-483-0506. Our fax number is 603-483-1035. The office is open from 10 am to 3 pm Thursday & Friday each week.  The Church Secretary is Sharon Packard. Our Senior Pastor is Dr. Bryan Moore.
